My first ever residential writing retreat
Come and join me at an Oxford college for writing, plotting, chatting to an agent and having lots of fun.
Write With Me 2025 Oxford Writing Retreat 2025
Hello everyone
Booking is now open for my 2 day/1 night writing retreat designed to really kick-start or super-charge your writing and publishing ambitions.
This is the first residential retreat I’ve ever done and I’m so excited about it.
I have twenty years experience in the publishing industry, have had multiple top ten best sellers around the world, and now want to share everything I’ve learned with you about how to have a rewarding and successful career as a writer.
We’ll be based at beautiful Keble College in Oxford.
This is a rare opportunity to stay overnight at an Oxford college and with so much literary history and heritage around the city - like the pubs where Tolkien and CS Lewis used to brainstorm their ideas, I know we’re going to find it incredibly inspiring.
The date for the retreat is 30th March to 31st March 2025
Start time is 12 noon on Sunday 30th. The retreat will finish at around 5pm on Monday 31st March.
Expect 1:1 time with me to discuss your creative projects and six workshops - five on writing craft plus one intensive session devoted to getting your work published and finding commercial success.
Along the way we’ll have afternoon tea, breakfast in Keble’s magnificent dining hall (it’s very Hogwart’s!) a Zoom conversation with a top literary agent and plenty of writing time.
Who is it for?
Anyone who has ever wanted to write a book and think 2025 is the year to finally make it happen.
Someone with lots of great ideas but isn’t sure which one to choose.
Anyone who has already started working on a novel or non-fiction book but has got ‘stuck’, lost confidence or is finding it hard to finish.
Anyone with a complete manuscript who wants advice to help make their book a commercial success.
What’s included:
One night’s stay at Keble College, Oxford
Breakfast in Keble’s magical great dining hall.
Afternoon Tea at The Alice, Oxford’s premier afternoon tea spot.
1:1 time with Sunday Times bestselling author Tasmina Perry to discuss your book and ask any burning questions you have. I want to help you craft a compelling blurb and outline and make a plan to get your work started, finished and published.
A tour around Oxford’s Bodleian Library (as seen in the Harry Potter movies)
Six intensive sessions on writing craft and publishing.
Lunch on 31st March
A zoom session with a top London literary agent. Bring along all your questions about the market, how to get noticed and what agents and publishers are currently looking for and how best to make your pitch to them.
The cost is £380.
Whether you are an aspiring writer, want a last push to finish your book or just want a creative hang-out with like-minded people, sign up to reserve your slot today.
This is a small-number retreat so I can devote as much 1:1 time to writers as possible.
If you are interested in coming along, please get in touch as soon as possible so I can ensure your place is reserved.
